M. Patrick McCloskey
Patrick McCloskey is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aeterna Capital Partners, a family office backed alternative investment firm seeking to make direct investments – both debt and equity – with a focus on the lower middle market. A twenty plus year veteran within the financial services industry with a particular focus on private financings, Mr. McCloskey has participated in more than 85 transactions – as both principal and agent – representing billions of dollars of capital for public and private companies, across a variety of industries and geographic regions including North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, India and Australia.
Mr. McCloskey co-managed Lazard's Private Placement Group as a Partner from New York and London where he was jointly responsible for sourcing, structuring and marketing private financings on a global basis. Throughout his career, Pat has worked closely with business owners, entrepreneurs, family offices and intermediaries as they seek financing solutions and strategic guidance for their various endeavors. Pat has held similar roles at Lehman Brothers and Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette/Credit Suisse.
Mr. McCloskey is a citizen of both the US and UK and serves on various Boards and Advisory Boards – both corporate and philanthropic. He received his a undergraduate degree in Finance, cum laude, from Georgetown University and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law. Pat and his wife Susie reside in Bronxville, NY with their four children.
Drew Bagin, CFA
Mr. Bagin is an experienced private equity/investment professional, having completed multiple principal transactions for both a strategic and financial investor. Prior to Aeterna Capital, Drew executed and monitored strategic acquisitions for ORIX Corp., a global financial services company (ticker: IX), deploying over $2.7 billion in capital across three transactions.
Mr. Bagin started his career in private equity at Lincolnshire Management, Inc., a leading middle market private equity firm, where he was responsible for analyzing/sourcing new investment opportunities and providing operational support to the firm’s portfolio companies. Founded in 1986, Lincolnshire has approximately $1.7 billion in capital under management and has executed over 70 private equity investments across various industries. Prior to Lincolnshire, Mr. Bagin worked at Lehman Brothers, advising high net worth clients in the Investment Management Division.
Drew received his undergraduate degree in Applied Economics & Management at Cornell University, is a CFA charterholder, and is Co-founder and advisory board member of Red Bear Angels, a Cornell focused angel investment group.
